1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Maynard Jensen American Legion Memorial Scholarship is an annual scholarship for students who must be a high school graduate or be earning sufficient credits to graduate from high school at the conclusion of the spring semester, or be enrolled full-time in a postsecondary institution as of the scholarship application deadline. Applicants must be sons or daughters, grandchildren or great-grandchildren, adopted or stepchildren of members of The American Legion, Department of Nebraska, or POW, MIA, KIA, or any veteran that was a current American Legion member at the time of death. Applicants must be enrolled or in the process of being enrolled in an accredited institution of higher education to include university, college or technical school, public or private. The certification blocks in the application must be signed by a school official, applicant, and parent or guardian. A school seal or an official rubber stamp must be affixed to school certification.
