1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Walter C. and Marie C. Schmidt Scholarship will be awarded to students enrolling in a program to become a registered nurse and intending to pursue a career in geriatric health care. The following are the order of college preferences: (1) Students attending Lane Community College, (2) students enrolled in any other two-year college nursing program, and (3) students enrolled in a four-year college nursing program. Filing of FAFSA or ORSAA is required. Students may apply-compete annually as this scholarship may be received for a maximum of 4 years. U.S. Bank employees, their children, and near relatives are not eligible. February 18 is the Early Bird deadline and March 3 is the final deadline for all materials to be submitted to OSAC.
