1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
Writer's Digest has been shining a spotlight on up-and-coming writers in all genres through its Annual Writing Competition for over 90 years. Applicants may now enter the 93rd Annual Writing Competition for a chance to win and have their work be seen by editors and agents. One Grand Prize winner will receive $5,000 in cash and other perks. The first to fifth placers will get $50 to $1000. The sixth through tenth place winners in each category will receive a $25 gift certificate. Applicants may select the category that best represents their entry. If the judges feel that another category is more appropriate, we will switch the category for you, on your behalf. Applicants may apply for the following genres: Genre Fiction, Mainstream or Literary Fiction, Memoirs or Personal Essay, Nonfiction Essay or Article, Inspirational, Rhyming Poetry, Non-rhyming poetry, Children's or Young Adult Fiction, or Humor. The early-bird deadline is May 6, 2024, and the actual deadline is June 3, 2024. The application fees are available on the website.
