1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Rose and Isidore Drench Memorial Fellowship and the Dora and Mayer Tendler Endowed Fellowship in Jewish Studies are dedicated to doctoral or post-doctoral research in American Jewish history, with special consideration given to scholars working on some aspect of the Jewish labor movement. These fellowships are for a period of three months of research at the YIVO Library and Archives and carry a stipend. The holder is also required to deliver a public lecture. Applicants must submit a cover letter, where they can introduce themselves and their project, and specify the fellowship for which they wish to apply. Applicants must also submit a summary of their research plan, specifying those YIVO resources that they intend to utilize. Then, applicants must provide the name and e-mail address of two academic references. They will receive an e-mail with information on how to upload a letter of reference.
