The Katharine M. Grosscup Scholarships in Horticulture aims to encourage the study of horticulture and related fields. The scholarship money is paid directly to recipients in support of their education and research. Students should be majoring in horticulture or related fields. Applicants are screened, interviewed and selected by the Katharine M. Grosscup Scholarship Committee in Cleveland, Ohio. Applicants must provide two letters of recommendation. One should be from their advisor or professor of the department of their major. The other should be from a current and/or former employer. Applications must be submitted electronically or sent by mail to be received at GCA Headquarters in New York City.
