1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The AEG Foundation Marliave Scholarship is intended to recognize and support outstanding students who are majoring in engineering geology or geological engineering programs. Applicants must be an AEG Student Member. Applicants must be nominated or sponsored by a faculty member, an employer or geoscience professional. A nomination letter from them describing the applicant's qualifications is required. The sponsor or nominator should be a member of AEG and it is encouraged to have this individual be a Student Chapter Advisor or AEG Section Officer. Two letters of reference, in addition to the Nomination or Sponsorship Letter, must be submitted by persons in the profession who can evaluate the applicant's qualifications to become a Marliave Scholar. Applicants must also submit an agreement that they will provide the AEG Foundation with a written final report, within 1 year of award receipt, that documents and describes the experience received based on the scholarship awarded and demonstrates compliance with grant conditions.
