1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Anne Lowe Scholarship will be awarded to students with legal blindness. The clinical diagnosis refers to a central visual acuity of 20/200 or less in the better eye with the best possible correction, and/or a visual field of 20 degrees or less. Often, people who are diagnosed with legal blindness still have some useable vision. Applicants must be undergraduate students attending an accredited college or university in the U.S. Students must submit a doctor's note of legal blindness dated in the last year and three letters of recommendation dated in the last six months from non-family members only.
