The NGA Foundation seeks to position the independent grocery industry as an employer of choice for college students and is committed to supporting students planning careers with this industry, which includes awarding the Mary Macey Scholarship. Applicants must be rising college freshman through graduate students attending a U.S. college or university. They must be majoring in Business, Food Management, Accounting, Human Resources, IT or other focuses leading to a career in grocery. Experience in the grocery industry is highly valued.
