1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Second Year Nursing Scholarship will be awarded annually to not less than a second year student nurse who is enrolled in an accredited institution awarding a degree as a Registered Nurse. The immediate family members of a Veteran will be given first preference. Applicants must be a resident of Arizona for at least one year. Applicants must be enrolled in a second year or advanced nursing program as an upper division student and carry the required hours of work with a grade average of "C" or better. Former recipients continuing degree program in nursing (R.N., B.A., M.A.) shall be given first consideration provided the applicant complies with aforementioned rules. Three letters of reference from persons who can testify to the applicant's character, study and work habits are required. They may be from the applicant's instructors, scholarship or financial aid director, standards committee, counselor, clergyman, or employer.
