1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Alice W. Rooke Scholarship will be awarded to a student who has been accepted into or who is pursuing an approved course of study to become a medical doctor at approved, accredited medical schools, colleges, and universities. Pre-med, veterinarian, or physician assistant students are not eligible. The scholarship is not automatically renewable; however, applicants may reapply for up to four years. At least two, but not more than four recommendations must be submitted. Recommendations should convey the applicant's ability, work habits, integrity, character, potential, and volunteer activities. A copy of the applicant's proof of United States citizenship is also required: birth certificate, naturalization papers, or information page of United States Passport must be included. If using a passport as proof of citizenship, cover the photograph. Submitting an expired passport or picture of yourself will result in your application being disqualified.
