The Medard W. Welch Award aims to recognize and encourage outstanding accomplishments in the fields of interest to AVS. The nominee must have outstanding theoretical and/or experimental accomplishments within the ten years preceding the year in which the award is made. Nominees can be from academia, government, or industry, and special consideration will be given to nominees currently engaged in an active scientific/technical career.
