1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The William Park Woodside Founder's Scholarship will award one year full tuition to the recipient. To be eligible, applicants must be a member of ASM International or a Material Advantage student member. They must have an intended or declared major in metallurgy or materials science engineering. Applicants majoring in related science or engineering disciplines will be considered if they demonstrate a strong academic emphasis and interest in materials science. Applicants must have completed at least 1 year of college. Their university must have an accredited science and engineering program leading to a bachelor's degree. The transcript, recommendation letters, applicant's photo, and resume must be sent separately through email or mail. Two letters of recommendation are required, at least one must be from a professor or employer in the field. Each award is for one year; students must re-apply for consideration the following year.
