1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
SAE and The Maintenance Council of American Trucking Associations have established this technical education scholarship to honor the leadership of Donald D. Dawson. This scholarship is intended to encourage the ideal of Dawson's respected technical competence in transport management. Applicants must pursue an engineering or related science degree through a U.S. ABET accredited program. Applicants must provide two Letters of Recommendation, one that focuses on academics and one that speaks to involvement in extracurricular activities or employment. Applicants are also required to demonstrate evidence of some type of hands-on automotive experience or activity in areas such as rebuilding engines, working on cars or trucks, tractor repair or working with drones (UAV Challenge, for example), robotics (FIRST, VEX) and coding.
