1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The MACPA Foundation provides scholarships to students in Maryland who have chosen the CPA career path. Award amounts are based on need and student achievement. A 3.0 GPA is required and must be maintained. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be a U.S. citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident. They must have completed introductory Accounting courses by the time of the award. Applicants must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program that will allow them to achieve the accounting concentration required to sit for the CPA Exam in Maryland. Applicants must be members of MACPA. They must also demonstrate commitment to pursuing a career as a CPA by joining MACPA as a student member.
