1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Robert E. Altenhofen Scholarship is administered by the ASPRS Foundation from funds provided by the estate of Mrs. Helen Altenhofen as a memorial to her husband, Robert E. Altenhofen. A past president of ASPRS, Mr. Robert Altenhofen was an outstanding practitioner of photogrammetry and made notable contributions to the mathematical aspects of science. The Robert E. Altenhofen Scholarship aims to encourage and commend college students who display exceptional interest and ability in the theoretical aspects of photogrammetry. Applicants must be student members of ASPRS. Applicants must submit two statements, one general statement and one scholarship-specific statement. Two letters of reference are also required. They must be from faculty members or professionals who have knowledge of the applicant's capabilities. For this scholarship specifically, papers, research reports, or other items produced by the applicant that indicate their capability in the required fields must also be submitted.
