1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
King Olav V of Norway gave his permission to the Sons of Norway Foundation to use his name in establishing the King Olav V Norwegian-American Heritage Scholarship. The King Olav V Norwegian-American Heritage Scholarship may be awarded to American students enrolled in an accredited educational institution in Norway or a Scandinavian Studies program in the United States; or Norwegian students enrolled in an accredited educational institution in the United States. American applicants must have a keen and sincere interest in Norwegian heritage and Norwegian applicants must have a demonstrated interest in American heritage. There is no SON membership requirement. This scholarship will be awarded for one year. Two letters of recommendation that address the applicant's character and abilities must be submitted.
